Abstract

Comparatively assessing the impact of corporate cost leadership techniques on Airtel and
Safaricom's organizational performance was the aim of the research. The study employed a
correlational research design, a quantitative technique, and the positivist paradigm. 235
management employees of Safaricom and Airtel were the target demographic, and a census
method was used. Questionnaires and secondary data collection sheets covering the years 2013
2022 were used to gather the data. The data was analyzed using multiple regression analysis and
descriptive statistics. The statistics were presented using tables and figures. The correlation
research revealed a good association between the performance of Kenyan mobile service
providers and corporate cost leadership initiatives (r=0.283, p<0.05). According to the study's
findings, cost leadership tactics help mobile service providers operate better by reducing
operational expenditures, optimizing costs, and providing competitive rates depending on client
volume. According to the report, mobile service providers should keep improving operational
effectiveness. Frequent process reviews may reveal inefficiencies that, when eliminated, result in
 large cost savings
