Abstract

Globalization is the process by which economies and society become more interdependent, linked, and
integrated to the point that events in one region of the world have an impact on individuals in other
regions. We've heard a lot about global economic integration and global culture. Conflict and
fragmentation result from this process, however, since it is inconsistent globally. In India, women's roles
have been evolving as they move beyond historical customs and into a new period of liberty and rights.
This paper's main goal is to investigate how globalization has affected women's roles in Indian society.
This issue is fundamental to India's growing development process and is not just an intellectual one. It is
necessary to assess how globalization has affected Indian women and to understand both the advantages
and disadvantages of this phenomenon for the current status of Indian women
